Open public comment addressed to the County Commissioners typically occurs at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month unless the date falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled due to a calendar conflict. Members of the public can sign up to speak in advance or on the day of public comment. Public comment is taken in-person (in the hearing room) or virtually via Zoom. Check the Commissioners' Advance Agenda to confirm meeting date one week prior to regularly scheduled date. Reserve a speaking spot using the either the "In Person" or "Virtual Attendee" link on the Commissioners' Advance Agenda. Day of Public Comment: Visit the Open Meeting Portal to find the link to join (or sign up to speak) virtually. Each speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for three minutes each. The NEPPIDAC Meeting scheduled for May 13 has been canceled. The next meeting will be July 8 The NEPPIDAC is an independent committee that provides Boulder County Commissioners with recommendations regarding the administration of the Nederland EcoPass Public Improvement District. While the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has the legal authority and responsibility to make decisions regarding the operation and finances of the District, the Committee members serve in an advisory capacity to the BOCC. The Committee acts as a communication link between the property owners and residents of the District and the BOCC. The Committee shall advise the BOCC and the Public Works Department on issues pertinent to the implementation of the public improvements serving the District.
