All veterans and eligible spouses receive priority of service for any workforce development services funded in whole or in part by the Department of Labor. Participants must meet eligibility requirements for program participation depending on the workforce program.
Boulder County assists veterans, transitioning service members, and spouses with the resources and services to meet labor-market demands through employment and training opportunities. We ensure early priority on all job listings, job fair and events, and other services for veterans.
Public Law 107-288, section 2(a) of the Act 38 U.S.C 4215 (a) Creates a priority of service for veterans (and some spouses) “who otherwise meet the eligibility requirements for participation” in Department of Labor (DOL) training programs.
Veterans’ Employment Services
Workforce Boulder County provides priority of service to all veterans in all employment and training programs.
Veteran Services – Boulder County Veteran Services provides U.S. military Veterans of all ages and their dependents with access to benefits through local, state, federal, and nonprofit programs. Accredited officers provide assistance with advising, educating, and submission of VA disability benefits and their programs. The Veteran Service Office is not an entity of the Veterans Administration but is licensed and accredited representatives of the Veteran’s Benefits Administration.
