Motor Vehicle Crash

Vehicle Crashes into James Creek

Boulder County, Colo. - On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at approximately 7:15 a.m., the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an overturned vehicle in James Creek, located in unincorporated Boulder County.

Upon the arrival of rescue personnel, they found an overturned vehicle in the creek and one person was partially submerged in the water. Medical personnel began providing aid while awaiting additional resources. The female patient was transported to a metro area hospital via ambulance. Currently, the severity of her injuries is unknown. The crash investigation is being handled by the Colorado State Patrol.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the rescue by American Medical Response, Boulder Emergency Squad, Colorado State Patrol, Lefthand Fire Protection District, and the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group.
