Deceased male found in unincorporated Boulder County in Farmers Ditch

Boulder County, Colo. - Today, at 11:58 a.m., the Boulder County Communications Center received a call regarding a body that was found by City of Boulder staff who were inspecting the Farmers Ditch, which is located on a City of Boulder property near the 4800 block of N. 26th St. in unincorporated Boulder County.

Responding agencies confirmed that the male was deceased upon arrival. It appears that the body had been there for some time, making identifying characteristics difficult to determine. At this time we believe the decedent was a male, possibly in his 50's or 60's.

Responding agencies were the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Boulder Rural Fire Protection District, American Medical Response (AMR) ambulance, City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks and the Boulder County Coroner's Office.

The cause and manner of death, as well as the identification of the decedent will be determined by the Boulder County Coroner's Office.

The Boulder County Sheriff's Office associated case number is: 19-5879.
