Tubing bans have been rescinded
Water flow rate has slowed to safer levels
Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle and Boulder Police Chief Greg Testa have determined that the water flow rates in Boulder Creek have sufficiently slowed to levels where the tubing ban has been rescinded.
The sheriff was also in consultation with with Town of Lyons and determined that the water flow rates in the North Saint Vrain Creek, South Saint Vrain Creek and the Saint Vrain River have sufficiently slowed to levels where the tubing ban has been rescinded for that waterway as well.
Although both of the tubing bans have been rescinded, we still encourage people recreating on all bodies of water, to exercise caution and wear personal protection equipment including a life jacket.
