Boulder County, Colo. - On June 20, 2019 around 7:00 p.m., deputies from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a local area hospital for a 24 year old male who reportedly shot himself in the foot. A husband, wife and cousin were on their way up Boulder Canyon to go camping in the mountains. The male passenger asked to look at the other males gun. He thought he unloaded the gun and accidentally shot himself in the foot. The male was self transported to a nearby hospital and was treated for non life threatening injuries.
