Hiker injured at Mount Sanitas

56 year-old female sustains injuries while hiking at Mount Sanitas.

Boulder County, Colo. -

On Sunday, April 7, 2019 at approximately 2:29 p.m. the Boulder Regional Communications Center received a call of an injured hiker that needed assistance. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office along with, Rocky Mountain Rescue, City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, American Medical Response and the Boulder Mountain Fire Department responded to the South Cedar Brook access of Mount Sanitas to assist a 56 year-old female who fell while hiking. The woman sustained minor injuries and was later transported to the hospital by a family member.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office case number for this incident is 19-1912.
