Staff to present proposed text amendments at a Dec. 18 Board of County Commissioners Public Hearing

Boulder County, Colo. - The staff report and proposed draft text amendments for Docket DC-24-0004: Text Amendments to the Land Use Code related to Residential Uses, Boarding House, and Group Care or Foster Home are now available for review and feedback. The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold a Public Hearing on Docket DC-24-0004 on Dec. 18.

Background

These amendments propose to:

• Remove the Boarding House Use and the Group Care or Foster Home Use.
• Amend the Household definition to clarify that residential group homes are considered a Household and thus may operate within a Dwelling Unit as a by right use.
