To receive this information in another language, please email commissioners@bouldercounty.gov
The Boulder County Commissioners strongly condemn the heinous act of terror carried out today (June 1) on the Boulder County Courthouse lawn. Violence and hatred have no place in our community.
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the victims and their families. We offer our deepest condolences and support. We stand with you and will support you as you navigate through this difficult time.
We are so grateful to the first responders and community members who acted swiftly to care for the wounded and apprehend the perpetrator. We know that justice for these victims will be top priority for law enforcement and the Boulder District Attorney’s Office.
As our community experiences another tragedy, it’s important for all of us to remember to support one another and take care of our mental health and wellbeing. Please check in with your friends, loved ones, and neighbors. For those who need extra support, Wellmind Connection resources are available.
