Trip Tracker - Volunteer

Due to the COIVD-19 Pandemic, SVVSD’s Trip Tracker Program in paused until further notice for the 2020-2021 School Year. In the meantime, please sign up to receive our electronic newsletter or texts to receive program updates, as well as information on safe walking and biking while at home and for when students and staff all return to the school buildings. View information on BVSD’s Trip Tracker Program.

Trip Tracker Depends on its Volunteers! Get Involved Today!Trip Tracker Program

Each participating Trip Tracker school relies on a dedicated core team of 2 to 3 parent volunteers who help with program promotion, registration, trip reporting, and Tracker Buck Distribution. There are also times when extra help is needed for larger events like bike rodeos, which help kids learn how to ride safely.

Each volunteer donates approximately 1 to 2 hours of their time each month to support the program. A little more time is required at the beginning of the year to get the ball (and kids!) rolling. All parent volunteers receive training at the start of the year. The next training opportunity is TBD.

All volunteers are asked to attend a training, but only one parent volunteer from each school is required as program materials will be distributed that day.
