Newsletters

Newsletters were produced and disseminated throughout the duration of the program to provide property owners and other interested parties with regular updates. The newsletters contained information on regulatory floodplains, the National Flood Insurance Program, Code Amendments, and other relevant topics.

Public Meetings

The Floodplain Remapping project hosted public meetings in January 2020 to discuss the FEMA appeals process and flood insurance requirements related to the Preliminary FIRMs. Representatives from FEMA, the CHAMP team, and Boulder County were present at each meeting. The specific stream reaches listed for each date was the primary focus for the meeting, although anyone was welcome was to attend any of the meetings.
