Stop by our breakfast station on Bike to Work Day and talk to our staff about bicycle safety, win prizes, and of course, have a donut.
We partner with American Red Cross to host a blood drive quarterly at the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters building. Come help save a life.
National Night Out 2026 will be held on Tuesday, August 4, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
National Night Out is an annual nationwide event that brings law enforcement and communities together to strengthen relationships, build trust, and promote safer neighborhoods. Our events include free food, local business partners, emergency vehicle displays, family activities, and opportunities for residents and visitors to meet members of the Sheriff’s Office and other public safety professionals.

We partner multiple times a year with Special Olympics Colorado to help raise funds for the amazing athletes who participate in different sports at local, area, state, and international levels.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office team, The Shiver Show, is gearing up for the 2026 Special Olympics Colorado Polar Plunge on Saturday, April 4, at Boulder Reservoir. You can be part of the team or donate in support of our fundraising efforts.
We are taking the plunge to support Special Olympics Colorado and the thousands of athletes across our state who demonstrate strength, perseverance, and determination every day.
Whether you jump into the water with us or support from the shore, your involvement helps create opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities and strengthens our community.
