The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office host, or participate in a variety of events throughout the year to include the following:

Events

Stop by our breakfast station on Bike to Work Day and talk to our staff about bicycle safety, win prizes, and of course, have a donut.

We partner with American Red Cross to host a blood drive quarterly at the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters building. Come help save a life.

The first Tuesday in August, we participate in National Night Out, an opportunity to join your neighbors in a community event. Meet your first responders, see specialized equipment, demonstrations, and grab some free food.

We partner multiple times a year with Special Olympics Colorado to help raise funds for the amazing athletes who participate in different sports at local, area, state, and international levels.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office team, The Shiver Show, is gearing up for the 2026 Special Olympics Colorado Polar Plunge on Saturday, April 4, at Boulder Reservoir. You can be part of the team or donate in support of our fundraising efforts.

We are taking the plunge to support Special Olympics Colorado and the thousands of athletes across our state who demonstrate strength, perseverance, and determination every day.

Whether you jump into the water with us or support from the shore, your involvement helps create opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities and strengthens our community.

Join the team. Make a donation. Help us make this plunge count.

The Shiver Show. Freezin’ for a reason.

Join us in October at Trunk or Treat. We partner with the Coroner’s Office to host a spooky, haunted event. Sign up your kids 12 and under, wear your best costume, get treats, and meet first responders.
