Boulder County Motor Vehicle offices are open Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Closed Fridays. Appointments are required for in-person services. Registration renewals need to be completed online, by mail or drop box, or at a self-service kiosk and are not an in-person service.

To prepare for a major Colorado DMV tech upgrade, all online Motor Vehicle services and MV Express kiosks in Colorado will be unavailable starting the evening of Fri, Feb 13 through Mon, Feb 16 (Presidents Day). All Boulder County Motor Vehicle offices will open at 9 a.m. (instead of 7:30 a.m.) on Tues, Feb 17. Learn more Colorado DMV.
