Certified Copy
A certified copy of a marriage license or civil union license is available by mail or can be requested over the phone after the license is recorded. Provide the following to obtain a certified copy of a Boulder County marriage or civil union license:
- Names of the parties in the marriage or civil union
- Date of ceremony
- Check payable to the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder
- Certified copies are $1.25 each
- Mailing address for return of the certified copy
- Self-addressed stamped envelope or the following:
- Additional $0.75 for postage to receive up to four copies
- Additional $2.00 for postage to receive five or more copies
