The Boulder County Community Planning & Permitting Department will be closed to in-person and virtual services on Tuesday, Oct. 4, so staff can attend an off-site department work planning session. Our office will reopen at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Docket DC-11-0001 proposed amendments to Article 4-514(J) Small Solar Energy Systems and 4-514(E) Major Facility of a Public Utility to create a new use classification for Medium Solar Energy Systems or Solar Gardens as a principal use and create a new use classification for Large Solar Energy Systems.

Board of County Commissioners Public Hearing

The Board of County Commissioners reviewed Boulder County Land Use Code text amendments to better facilitate statewide Solar Gardens legislation and to allow small to medium sized commercial scale solar energy power generation facilities April 19, 2011.

BOCC Action: The Board of County Commissioners approved this docket on April 19, 2011.
