Wildfire Partners and CSU Extension to Host Nov. 12 Webinar on Designing Fire-Resilient Landscapes

Landscape architects, designers, and contractors invited to learn about fire-adapted landscaping design and maintenance

Boulder County, Colo. – As wildfire risk grows across the Front Range, Boulder County’s Wildfire Partners and Colorado State University Extension are inviting landscape professionals to take part in a Nov. 12 educational webinar, Designing Fire-Resilient Landscapes.

The free, online session will provide landscape architects, designers, and contractors with practical guidance on incorporating fire-adapted landscaping principles into their design and maintenance work.

The webinar will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12 from noon to 1 p.m. Participants will learn about current best practices for creating fire-resilient landscapes, including design approaches that reduce ignition potential, plant selection and creating defensible space. The webinar will be recorded and shared with registrants.
