Wild Land Fire
Boulder County, Colo. -
On Thursday, October 16th, 2025, at about 7:04 p.m. Boulder County Regional Communications Center received a call for service regarding a wildland fire South of Bald Mountain, on US Forest Service land in unincorporated Boulder County.
Personnel with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Sugarloaf Fire Protection District, Nederland Fire Protection District, Boulder Emergency Squad, & the City of Boulder Fire Rescue responded to the scene and found a wildland fire about ¼ acre in size. The fire was quickly extinguished. There were no structures damaged, threatened, or injuries.
At this time the cause of the fire is under investigation by the US Forest Service. This incident is documented under Boulder County Sheriff's Office case number #25-05066.
