Upcoming Meetings for the Parks & Open Space Advisory Committee

The Parks & Open Space Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 6:30 p.m. and hold their annual retreat on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 8:30 a.m.

Regular Meeting on Feb. 22

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format where attendees can join through Zoom or in-person at the Boulder County Courthouse, 1325 Pearl St, Boulder.

Public comments will be accepted from individuals attending the meeting in-person or virtually through the Zoom Webinar.

Public comments related to weed management will be taken after the Summary of Proposed Changes to the Draft Integrated Weed Management Plan.

Written public comment regarding the IWMP proposed changes should be submitted on the Invasive Plants & Weed Management on Open Space webpage to be entered into the public record. All written public comment submitted before Feb. 21 will be read by staff and the committee members. It is not necessary to also testify, but all participation is welcome.

Annual Retreat on Feb. 24

The committee will hold its annual retreat on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Goodhue Farmhouse, Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm, located at 2005 S. 112th St., Broomfield. POSAC members and Parks & Open Space staff will discuss projects, goals, and policies.

The retreat is open to the public, but will not provide an opportunity for public comment. If you would like to attend, contact Renata Frye at rfrye@bouldercounty.gov by Feb. 21 to secure a seat. Space is limited.
