Tactical rescue for two climbers at Castle Rock in Boulder Canyon

Boulder County, Colo. - On May 19, 2020 at approximately 9:40 p.m., Boulder County deputies responded to the area of "Castle Rock", located in the area of 29,400 Boulder Canyon Drive for two climbers who became stuck after their ropes became tangled as they were descending.

Rescuers from Rocky Mountain Rescue, Nederland Fire Department, Boulder Emergency Services, and the Boulder County Sheriff's Office responded for a tactical rescue. Both climbers were assisted down safely and neither sustained any injuries as a result of the incident.
