Boulder County, Colo. - A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the July 18 armed robbery at the Circle K convenience store in Lyons.

The suspect, 21-year-old Jaden Lee Robinson, turned himself in at the Boulder County Jail with the assistance of his attorney.

Investigators identified Robinson as a suspect after coordinating with another law enforcement agency regarding a related incident in their jurisdiction. Multiple search warrants were later executed, linking Robinson to the Circle K robbery.

Robinson was charged with the following:

• Aggravated Robbery (Felony 3)
• Menacing (with a firearm) (Felony 5)
• Theft ($300-$1,000) (Misdemeanor 2)

The following agencies assisted with the case: Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder Police Department, Lakewood Police Department, and the Wheatridge Police Department.

The associated Boulder County Sheriff’s Office case number is: 25-03440.

As in every criminal case, these charges are merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty.

Armed Robbery in Lyons, Colorado

Boulder County, Colo. - On July 18, 2025, at about 7:30 p.m., The Circle K convenience store in Lyons, Colorado was robbed by an unidentified male armed with a handgun. No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect fled the scene on foot with the cash from the register before law enforcement arrived.

Deputies with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, along with officers from the Longmont Police Department and the Erie Police Department, responded to the scene. A search with K-9 and drones was conducted. Unfortunately, the suspect was not located and is still at large.

The suspect was described by witnesses as a white male in his early 20's wearing dark colored pants, a black and white hoodie (angel wings on the back) with a blue bandana covering his face. He was armed with a black "1911 style" handgun.
