Boulder County, Colo. - At approximately 9:0 p.m. on November 20^th, 2024, the Boulder County Communications Center received a call regarding a wildland fire in the 2000 Block of Flagstaff Road, in unincorporated Boulder County, west of the City of Boulder.

When first responders arrived on-scene, they located a ground fire covering approximately 200 feet by 200 feet in steep terrain near the 1800 block of Flagstaff Rd. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no structures were damaged. An investigator with Boulder Fire Rescue will be investigating the cause of the fire.

The following agencies responded to the fire: Boulder Fire Rescue, Mountain View Fire Rescue, Boulder Rural Fire Department, Boulder Police Department, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder Open Space Mountain Parks.
