Prescribed Burn Community Meeting for Hall Ranch Open Space

Wednesday, Sept. 8, 6:30 - 8 p.m. in Lyons

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space and the Sheriff’s Office Fire Management Program plan to conduct prescribed burns west of Lyons at Hall Ranch this fall. The burns are scheduled to occur sometime between Sept. 19 and Nov. 20, weather permitting.

Hall Ranch will only be closed during active ignition days.

This is part of the Nelson Loop Prescribed Burn Project, a five-year plan to treat 853 acres with a goal of burning up to 350 acres per year. To learn more, please join us at the community meeting.
