Motor Vehicle Accident Resulting in Fatality

Boulder County, Colo. - On Saturday, October 25, 2025, at approximately 3:47 p.m., the Boulder County Regional Communications Center received reports of a vehicular accident involving a motorcycle and 4-door sedan in the vicinity of East State Highway 119 and East Street located in Nederland.

Personnel from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Nederland Fire Protection District, Colorado State Patrol, Boulder County Emergency Squad and Boulder County Coroner’s Office responded. East State Highway 119 was shutdown between N Bridge St and Hurricane Hill Dr., from approximately 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. so the incident could safely be investigated. Regrettably, the motorcyclist did not survive the accident.

The incident is under investigation and is documented under Boulder County Sheriff’s Office case report #25-05193.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office urges all motorists to drive with care and due regard while operating vehicles in Boulder County.
