Jan. 11 Community Meeting on Rebuilding in Unincorporated Boulder County after the Marshall Fire
Boulder County will host a meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 11, from 6-8 p.m. at St. Ambrose Episcopal Church, 7520 South Boulder Road for unincorporated Boulder County residents impacted by the Marshall Fire and their design professionals who have been assisting with the rebuilding process. The focus of this meeting will be to hear from residents and design professionals on what has worked well, what has not, what might be missing, and to discuss suggestions for improvements. Working together towards recovery
Boulder County, the City of Louisville, the Town of Superior, and several local, state and federal partners have worked collaboratively to assist those affected by the Marshall Fire and Wind Event since it happened on Dec. 30, 2021. Highlights of just some of the milestones made to date towards recovery efforts have been compiled. We share this information with the community to express that we are one community, and together, we will work towards recovery, healing and rebuilding. View the list.
Resilient rebuild informational videos available
As we near the one year mark of the Marshall Fire, many affected homeowners are in the process of rebuilding their homes and other structures that were lost in the fire. Videos have been created that are intended to serve as inspiration and a source of information for those who are considering electrification as part of their rebuilding efforts. The speakers are Boulder County residents who, though not directly impacted by the fire, have made the choice to add electrified elements to their homes and feel passionately about sharing the benefits they’ve experienced with others who are considering doing the same. Marshall Fire Solidarity Breakfast and Community Story-Telling coming Dec. 30
A Solidarity Breakfast, commemorating the Marshall Fire and Wind event, will be hosted at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road) on Friday, Dec. 30, from 7-11 a.m.
This event will be an open-house-style breakfast featuring donations from Santiago’s, Serendipity, Huckleberry, Moxie Bread Company, Chick-Fil-A, Louisville United Methodist Church, and Louisville Rising. A local jazz pianist will provide music for the morning. All those impacted by the Marshall Fire, including our first responders and volunteers, are welcome to attend.
Family-friendly crafts and activities will be hosted by the Superior Youth Leadership Council and Snapology. Mental, emotional and social support will be offered by local professionals throughout the event.
Please join us as we support each other as one community.
Community Story-Telling
Directly following the breakfast, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Superior Rising, in partnership with Colorado Public Radio, will host a story telling session. This will be an hour-long structured event featuring pre-determined speakers. Speakers wishing to participate must contact Superior Rising before the event. Everyone affected by the fire is welcome to listen, and there will likely be an open mic session for those wishing to share their story but are not included speakers in the programing.
Deadline reminders and to-do list
As we approach the one-year mark of the 2021 Marshall Fire and Straight Line Wind Event, there are several important deadlines to keep in mind related to insurance claims and homeowner rights. The City of Louisville recently sent a mailer to all homes in Louisville, as well as to neighbors whose homes were damaged or destroyed in the fire. This mailer provides important deadlines to be aware of and to-do lists for those whose homes were destroyed, those who sustained property damage, and the entire community. This information is helpful for all those affected by the Marshall Fire, not just those in Louisville. Learn more.

Vídeos informativos sobre la reconstrucción resiliente

Desayuno de solidaridad del incendio Marshall y Cuentos de la Comunidad – 30 de diciembre
El viernes 30 de diciembre, de las 7:00 a.m. a las 11:00 a.m., se ofrecerá un Desayuno de Solidaridad en conmemoración del incendio Marshall y el evento del viento en el Centro Comunitario Superior (1500 Coalton Road).
Este evento será un desayuno de puertas abiertas con donaciones de Santiago's, Serendipity, Huckleberry, Moxie Bread Company, Chick-Fil-A, Louisville United Methodist Church y Louisville Rising. Un pianista de jazz local ofrecerá música durante la mañana. Todos los afectados por el incendio Marshall, incluyendo nuestros primeros intervinientes y voluntarios, están invitados a asistir.

Cuentos de la Comunidad
