Boulder County, Colo. - Construction has started on the CO 119/Diagonal Highway Safety, Mobility and Bikeway Project. To get construction alerts, upcoming closures and detours that will affect cyclists, motorists and pedestrians follow these steps:

1. Go to the CDOT Construction Updates sign-up page.
2. Enter your email address and click Submit.
3. Scroll down and click on Northeast Colorado.
4. Check the box for CO 119 Safety & Mobility Improvements.
5. Scroll down and click Submit to start receiving updates.

Background and More Information

The project includes construction of a nine-mile commuter bikeway, Bus Rapid Transit stations for faster and more reliable bus service, and safety improvements at intersections. Construction on the project is expected to be completed in 2027.
