Highway 287 motor vehicle collision on 01/09/2023

Boulder County, Colo. -

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a 69-year-old Caucasian female and a 71-year-old Caucasian male who were involved in a motor vehicle incident near mile marker 46 of Highway 287 on January 9, 2023.

At this time, the decedents have been positively identified as Sharon Christensen and Allan Christensen.

Examinations have been completed, and the cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
