Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Public Works’ Resource Conservation Division is once again offering FREE compost workshops to residents that are hosted by a master composter. The sessions are designed to help both those who want to start composting in their backyards and those who already have a home system but are looking for tips on improving their final product.

Upcoming Workshops

  • Tuesday, April 30 from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. at the Longmont Library
  • Monday, May 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Boulder County Recycling Center
  • Saturday, May 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Louisville Library

Classes are FREE but registration is required because space is limited. Workshops cover:

  • Essential habits of a successful backyard compost bin
  • Browns vs. Greens
