Boulder County, Colo. – Wildfire Partners and BOLO REALTORS will host a training for Boulder County realtors on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Boulder County Southeast Community Hub in Lafayette.
The program will provide realtors with essential information about wildfire mitigation and how homeowners can reduce the risk of home ignition during wildfires. Because wildfire risk and mitigation are critical issues for both buyers and sellers, Wildfire Partners has partnered with local realtor associations to help educate real estate professionals since 2014.
“This training is an opportunity for realtors to deepen their understanding of wildfire risk in Boulder County and provide valuable guidance to clients navigating the challenges of buying and selling homes in the wildland-urban interface,” said Jim Webster, Wildfire Partners program manager.
Participants who complete the program and pass the final test will be listed on the Wildfire Partners website and will be provided with Wildfire Partners publications and resources for their marketing efforts. The training offers four hours of continuing education credit.
While the program is targeted at realtors working in western Boulder County, all realtors working in the county are welcome to participate. Register to attend on the BOLO REALTORS website.
