Boulder County Open Space closures, except Heil Valley Ranch, lifted Tuesday, Nov. 10, at sunrise.

Level 2 fire restrictions remain in effect.

Boulder County, Colo. - All Boulder County Parks & Open Space closures, except Heil Valley Ranch, will be lifted at sunrise on Tuesday, Nov. 10., due to the decreased fire danger and current weather conditions. Heil Valley Ranch will remain closed for resource and safety assessments.

Level 2 fire restrictions remain in effect for all areas of unincorporated Boulder County.

The following properties will open to public use:

  • Anne U. White
  • Bald Mountain
  • Caribou Ranch
  • Castle Rock climbing area
  • Grassy Top
  • Hall Ranch
  • Hessie trailhead
  • Mud Lake
  • Reynolds Ranch
  • Sugarloaf Mountain

Please honor the Heil Valley Ranch closure. Trails are not safe due to potential falling trees and other hazards. There will be increased ranger patrol at Heil Valley Ranch. Level 2 fire restrictions remain in effect for all areas of unincorporated Boulder County. COVID-19 restrictions and active wildfires have strained public safety resources. Support first responders by practicing responsible recreation and avoiding fire-related activities.
