Boulder County, Colo.

On October 13, 2023 at approximately 5:37am, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a report of a structure fire in the 7000-block of Magnolia Drive in unincorporated Boulder County. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene where they found a barn fully engulfed in flames. No other structures were immediately threatened.

Fire crews were able to quickly contain the fire and prevent its spread to nearby forested areas. The barn was a complete loss. No animals were inside the barn at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

Agencies that responded to the fire included Timberline, Sugarloaf, and Nederland Fire Protection Districts, Gilpin Ambulance, Boulder Emergency Squad, and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation by the Nederland Fire Department.
