ICYMI: M4A Outreach Highlight
On Saturday, March 23rd, Mobility for All and Community Cycles teamed up in Louisville to host a Kid's Bike Giveaway. Nothing is more heartwarming than seeing the smiles of delight on kids' faces as they ride around on their new bikes! 27 children in our BCHA communities were given bikes and helmets.
Over the next year, Mobility for All is partnering with Community Cycles, Bicycle Colorado, and BVSD to connect Lafayette Elementary School families with bicycles, safe riding education, and practice rides as part of the Multigenerational Bike Access and Education project funded by CDOT's Safe Routes to School.
Celebrate Earth Day by Supporting our Planet!
For Earth Day 2024, the focus is on plastic reductions. The average American uses and throws away 110 pounds of plastic each year. There are lots of little things we can do to reduce our waste and harm to the environment. Cultivate awareness of your personal habits, buy local and organic when possible, use cold water when doing laundry, and vote for environmentally conscious policies. Take this short quiz to find out how much you know about plastics and their effects on our environment.
