Since 2000, Boulder County has distributed tens of millions of dollars in Worthy Cause funding to our community partners. In 2025 alone, the county awarded $4.3 million in Worthy Cause funds to support capital projects such as facility improvements, property acquisition, and debt reduction.
The current version of the program, Worthy Cause IV, was approved by voters in 2017 with 79% support, continuing the 0.05% sales and use tax allocation that makes this funding possible.
How to Apply
The 2026 Request for Funding (RFF) application is available now on the Boulder County Worthy Cause webpage. Applications must be submitted online by the Aug. 27 deadline.
