Apartment Fire on Williams Fork Trail

Apartment fire, 5100 block of Williams Fork Trail

Boulder County, Colo. -

On March 19th at approximately 5:12 am, Boulder County Dispatch received calls stating that there were flames visible from a two-story apartment complex located at 5120 Williams Fork Trail, the complex consists of 28 separate apartments. One caller stated that it appeared that the fire was on the second floor.

Deputies, fire personnel from Mountain View Fire, Rocky Mountain Fire, Boulder Rural Fire, Boulder Emergency Squad responded to the scene along with medical resources from American Medical Response. Xcel Energy is on scene as well to assist with this incident.

The fire appears to have been contained to a single apartment on the second floor and attic area. Four residents at this time have been displaced by the fire and the Red Cross is assisting them.

One resident was transported to a hospital for injuries from the fire, another was given medical aid on scene and was not transported to a hospital, no animals were injured.

Representatives from the Multi Agency Fire Investigation Team (MAFIT) are on scene and are investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
