95th Street set to fully reopen on December 31

Boulder County, Colo. - Starting at 4:30 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 13, 95th Street between Valmont and Lookout roads will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This means that the road will be open over the weekend and then close at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 16. This new restriction is the same as what was in place during phase one of the project. Phase two (current) required a full roadway closure, 24-hours a day, seven days a week while crews constructed two new culvert systems under the road. The culverts have been placed, but work remains to be completed, which is why the road must continue to be closed during daytime, weekday construction hours.

This stretch of 95th Street will completely reopen full-time at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Work will continue, but road closures will not be required. Travelers can expect short delays while work continues through January. These delays will be intermittent during daytime, weekday working hours.
