9-year-old identified from Boulder County incident on 06/11/2023

Boulder County, Colo. -

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a 9-year-old Hispanic male who was found in Boulder Creek near Eben G. Fine Park on 06/11/2023.

At this time, the decedent has been positively identified as Romeo Alvarez.

An examination has been completed and the cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
