In order to safely complete paving operations, 61st/63rd Street will be closed between Jay and Valmont roads. The road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 17
  • Wednesday, Aug. 18
  • Thursday, Aug. 19
  • Monday, Aug. 23
  • Tuesday, Aug. 24

The closure will be in place for both cyclists and motor vehicles. Residential traffic will be allowed to access homes during closure periods. Residents south of Andrus Road will need to use Valmont Road to access their homes. Residents north of Andrus Road will need to use Jay Road to access their homes. Detours for all other travelers will be established on 75th Street. Public access to the Tree Farm nursery will be maintained from Valmont Road.

The closure dates and times are weather and material supply dependent. There is currently an asphalt shortage throughout the region, so supplies are not guaranteed each day. If asphalt is not available on any given day, the road will remain open, but the schedule will be extended. Visit www.BoCoConeZones.com for updates.

Thank you for your time and patience.
