41-year-old male wanted for Sexual Exploitation of a Child
Boulder County, Colo. - On April 13, 2023, an arrest warrant was issued for 41-year-old Michael Risinger-Peel for ten counts of §18-6-403(3)(b.5), Sexual exploitation of a child-possession, Class 4 Felonies as Risinger-Peel has a prior conviction for sexual exploitation of a child. The warrant has no bond and Risinger-Peel was last known to reside in the 1900 block of Sumac Place in the City of Longmont. He is described as 5’10” tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and green eyes. The investigation began after the Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received information about the possession of CSAM from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). A search warrant was executed on March 30, 2023, at Risinger-Peel’s residence where additional evidence was located. Shortly after the search warrant was executed at Risinger-Peel’s residence, it appears as though he may have moved out and left his known place of employment. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.
Boulder County Sheriff’s Office houses local members of Colorado ICAC task force, comprised of Boulder County Digital Forensics Lab investigators from Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Longmont Department of Public Safety, Boulder Police Department and Boulder County District Attorney’s Office. In addition to other responsibilities, investigators assigned to the Boulder County Digital Forensics Lab are tasked with investigating child sexual exploitation cases and high technology crimes, plus digital forensics expertise and analysis on a wide range of cases.
