Board of Adjustment (BOA)
The Boulder County Board of Adjustment (BOA) hears appeals of any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by the Community Planning & Permitting Director or County Engineer in administering or enforcing Article 4 related provisions (e.g. definitions in Article 18) of this Code, and considers certain variances from the requirements of Article 4 of the Land Use Code.

The Board of Adjustment meets as needed on the first Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. Board of Adjustment meetings and hearings are open to the public.
Public Meetings and Hearings
Boulder County Board of Adjustment meetings are convened in a hybrid format where attendees can join through Zoom or participate in-person at the Downtown Boulder County Courthouse, 3rd Floor, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder.

Members of the Board of Adjustment
The members of the BOA are county residents appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. Note that members of the Land Use Planning Commission (PC) may substitute for these individuals as needed.
