Per Boulder County Guidelines wearing a mask outdoors is recommended.

Purpose/Background

This RFP is to complete one Wildfire Partners hazardous fuels reduction project on private property. The project has been marked. A project map and prescription are included in Exhibit A. This project is a total of 26.97 acres. However, approximately 700 trees have been removed this year under a different contract so the project has changed significantly since 2019 and 2020. Interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend one of two pre-proposal meetings so they can view the property and the individual tree marking in order to prepare an accurate bid.

Wildfire Partners

Launched in 2014, Wildfire Partners is a nationally recognized, collaborative program to reduce wildfire risk. Homeowners, with the assistance from Wildfire Partners, work to better protect their homes by actively creating and maintaining defensible space and reducing the ignition potential of their structures. Specifications and a sample contract with a FEMA specific addendum are attached. The successful proposer shall execute the attached addendum as part of any contract with the county, and comply with all FEMA requirements set forth in that addendum.
