| Other Comments: | Purpose/Background Boulder County Land Use is seeking qualified contractors to provide property restoration services throughout unincorporated Boulder County. Awarded vendors will enter into a continuing services contract with the county to provide on-going clean-up services for properties deemed to be in violation of Article 14 of the Boulder County Land Use Code. There will be an option to renew for four more one year terms. No work is guaranteed by an award of a contract. Article 14-100(A) of the Boulder County Land Use Code reads as follows:
Specifications and a sample contract are attached. To protect the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Boulder County through the removal of rubbish (including trash, junk, and garbage); weeds and brush; and unsafe or abandoned buildings and structures from land in the unincorporated areas of the County. This includes removal by the County upon notice to and failure of the property owner to remove such rubbish, weeds, or unsafe structures, and the provision for criminal penalties in the event of failure to comply. Written Inquiries All inquiries regarding this SOQ will be submitted via email to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at purchasing@bouldercounty.org on or before 2:00 p.m. October 9, 2019. A response from the county to all inquiries will be posted and sent via email no later than October 15, 2019.
