The Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (BCPOS) is seeking flat-fee bids to perform residential home inspections on twenty-six (26) residential rental homes the County manages on open space properties. The purpose of the inspections is to get current evaluations of the homes condition for managing and maintaining the properties. The houses range in age, size and type of construction, with some listed as historic. All the houses are currently occupied by tenants and on property that is not open to the public. No radon, lead, asbestos, well or septic testing is needed at this time.
The successful proposer will be required to enter into a Contract for Services and meet all insurance requirements as required prior to any work beginning.
All proposers are instructed to thoroughly review all the stated insurance requirements for this Project, the insurance requirements stated are the minimum and standard for Boulder County Government, for this Project. All hired contractors are required to meet the insurance requirements, as stated, for contracted services as part of the Boulder County contracting process. Owner/Sole Proprietors/Officer are not Exempt from the county’s insurance requirements and coverage limits. Please refer to the Insurance Requirements in this RFP.
In the event the selected contractor is unable to commence work as agreed to, the Boulder County Commissioners may rescind the bid award and proceed to award the contract to another proposer based on the RFP, re-bid the work, or proceed in any lawful manner the County deems necessary.
A Pre-proposal meeting will NOT be held for this Project.

All inquiries regarding this RFP will be submitted via email to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at email@example.com on or before 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2021. A response from the county to all inquiries will be posted and sent via email no later than Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

Submittals are due at the email box only, listed below, for time and date recording on or before 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time on Monday, April 12, 2021.
The attached addendum supersedes the original Information and Specifications regarding RFP # 7224-21 where it adds to, deletes from, clarifies or otherwise modifies. All other conditions and any previous addendums shall remain unchanged.
