Purpose/Background

Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) currently operates over 835 residential units at 59 properties and is planning capital improvement projects at several of the properties. BCHA is seeking contractors to perform general contracting work as these projects are identified.

The scope of these projects will include, but not be limited to, site upgrades, remediation projects, interior unit renovations, deck rebuilds, roofing, painting, drywall repairs, and small to large construction projects. Locations are spread throughout Lyons, Longmont, Niwot, Gunbarrel, Lafayette, Louisville, and Nederland.

Awarded vendors will be expected to enter into a continuing services contract with the county with the option to renew for four more one-year terms. No work is guaranteed by an award of a contract.

All inquiries regarding this SOQ will be submitted via email to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at purchasing@bouldercounty.org on or before 2:00 p.m. July 27, 2022. A response from the county to all inquiries will be posted and sent via email no later than August 3, 2022.

Submittal Instructions

Submittals are due at the email box only, listed below, for time and date recording on or before 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time on August 10, 2022. Vendors must answer whether line-item pricing information submitted with a bid is confidential or closely held.

The attached addendum supersedes the original Information and Specifications regarding SOQ # 7362-22 where it adds to, deletes from, clarifies or otherwise modifies. All other conditions and any previous addendums shall remain unchanged.
