Purpose/Background

Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) is seeking qualified vendors to provide environmental testing at BCHA rental properties throughout Boulder County, including but not limited to testing for mold, asbestos, lead-based paint, and methamphetamines. Contractors must specify what type of services they are qualified for and experienced with providing. Contractors do not need to be able to provide all the services listed. The purpose of this solicitation is to award contracts to one or more contractors who can offer the required services. The awarded contractors will be required to enter into a continuing services contract for two years not to exceed $100,000, with the option to renew for one additional two-year term and one one-year term, for a total of five years. Services will be requested on an as-needed basis. Pre-qualified contractors will have the opportunity to provide quotes as work arises. Therefore, there is no guarantee that any work will be directed to an awarded contractor.

All inquiries regarding this SOQ will be submitted via email to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at purchasing@bouldercounty.org on or before 2:00 p.m. July 7, 2020. A response from the county to all inquiries will be posted and sent via email no later than July 10, 2020.

The attached addendum supersedes the original Information and Specifications regarding SOQ # 7157-20 where it adds to, deletes from, clarifies or otherwise modifies. All other conditions and any previous addendums shall remain unchanged.
