| Other Comments: | Purpose/Background Deliver a complete and operable Emergency/Standby electric generating system, including all devices and equipment specified herein, as shown on the drawings, or required for the service. Equipment shall be new, factory tested, and delivered ready for installation. Perform an on-site acceptance test after installation by Boulder County. There is an existing 650kw generator to be replaced. We are asking to try and utilize the existing generator pad as best as possible and with the least amount of modifications as possible. Existing transfer switch to remain and all work to be performed by Boulder County. Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting A mandatory pre bid meeting will be held at the Boulder County Jail, 3200 Airport Rd, Boulder, CO 80301, on December 20, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. Bids from firms not represented and signed in at the mandatory, pre-bid meeting, and site visit will not be accepted. Written Inquiries All inquiries regarding this BID will be submitted via email to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at purchasing@bouldercounty.org on or before 2:00 p.m. December 22, 2021. A response from the county to all inquiries will be posted and sent via email no later than December 27, 2021. Do not contact any other county department or personnel with questions or for information regarding this solicitation. Submittal Instructions BIDs are due at the email box only, listed below, for time and date recording on or before 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time on January 4, 2022. A bid opening will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. via email by sending a copy of the bid tab to all who have submitted a bid. Please note that email responses to this solicitation are limited to a maximum of 50MB capacity. NO ZIP FILES OR LINKS TO EXTERNAL SITES WILL BE ACCEPTED. THIS INCLUDES GOOGLE DOCS AND SIMILAR SITES.
