Healthy Eating Active Living Training for Child Care Providers
- A training series on nutrition, movement, and related policy changes; attendance at all sessions is required
- Participants will receive a certificate of completion and 15 clock hours

Healthy Eating, Active Living Training Objectives
- Increasing (and embedding) physical activity in your program while educating and monitoring children’s screen time and sleep patterns
- Improving nutritional practices related to feeding and eating behaviors, in addition to promoting and supporting breastfeeding within your program
- Improving nutritional quality of foods served, while exploring menu planning basics, food safety, and food preparation equipment
- Developing and implementing an organizational policy to aid in the communication and implementation of the above objectives
