Maria Avila
Maria Avila (she/her) is the foster and adoption supervisor for the 360 Foster Care Team. She has worked in child protection for more than two decades. Maria has been employed with Boulder County since January 2023. She previously worked as a foster care certification caseworker and adoption caseworker in another county. Maria is passionate about supporting foster families and children placed in foster care. She was also a foster parent with Boulder County for three years, and she gained a better understanding of the support and knowledge that foster parents need to be successful. Maria is a Colorado native who enjoys spending time with her husband, two adult children, and her three dogs. She enjoys being outdoors gardening, walking, hiking, and skiing.
