The county commissioners take general public comments on any matter not being discussed in another current public hearing process. Each speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for 3 minutes each. Participants will not be able to screen-share but can bring printed materials in person. Children ages 3 to 6 will love to visit the farm to learn about animals, plants, and agricultural life. “The Piñata the Farm Maiden Hung,” is a bilingual story for National Hispanic Heritage Month about the farm animals helping the farmer throw a fiesta. The program includes hands-on activities and a take-home craft. Afterwards, explore the farm and meet the farm animals from the story. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This is the final Fun on the Farm program for the 2025 season. Registration is not required for this activity, but you can still sign up to be notified in case the event is unexpectedly canceled.
