Children ages 3-6 will love to visit the farm to learn about animals, plants, and agricultural life. The Chicken & the Egg introduces kids to all the cool things about chickens, while surrounded by our own farm flock! All programs include a short story time, hands-on activities, and a take-home craft. Afterwards, explore the farm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fun on the Farm is the 2nd and 4th Fridays through September. Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event. Registration is not required for this activity, but you can still sign up to be notified in case the event is unexpectedly canceled. Register Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you'll need to create an account.
