Description
Boulder County Mobility Ambassadors will support Mobility for All (M4A) by breaking down mobility barriers many residents face related to using technology to get around. M4A is a bridge program that promotes transportation equity and human-centered transportation planning.
Ideal Mobility Ambassadors are public transit enthusiasts, interested in using other modes of transportation besides personal vehicles such as biking, walking, paratransit, ride hailing, carpooling, car sharing etc., and technology enthusiasts interested in learning more about smartphone applications that help people get around, peer representatives of their communities, relationship builders, comfortable speaking in front of diverse audiences, patient and empathetic with new learners, and able to provide guidance and feedback.
M4A Ambassadors promote multimodal transportation, provide transportation support and assistance, and facilitate a series of mobility app workshops, including Google Maps, RTD My Ride, Transit App, Uber, and Lyft, and provide feedback on M4A programs and planning efforts.
The M4A Monthly Ambassador Meetings take place the 2nd Wednesday of the Month, 3:00-3:50 p.m., virtually.
